Long story. Will explain.

Arrived the airport around 10:00 pm (flight at 11:45 pm). Luggage had to go through the agriculture inspection before checking in. Finally went through the security check and got noticed that the flight might land in LA instead of Phoenix due to the weather condition. It did land in LA in the end and everybody on that plane had to start their long journey back home. We were considered the lucky ones I think.

After everybody got off the plane in LA, the company (US Airways) started to re-arrange the flights for the customers. It was just a long long long line in front of the counter in the gate because everyone was eager to know their changed schedule and hoping to fly back to the destination directly from LA. But nope, except the ones whose destination was LA, everybody had to get on the same flight to Phoenix (which is ridiculous I know). We were arranged to fly back to Phoenix and then fly to Charlotte. Stay one night at Charlotte and then fly back to Atlanta the other morning. We were very upset to hear this because we were very tired and felt like we were never gonna get home. We had no choice but get on that plane to Phoenix. I also talked to my boss to take one more day off. However, everybody was smart enough to try again at Phoenix. We first tried at the counter right in the gate, but that ground staff couldn't help. Then we waited for another hour at the customer service, the staff there finally got us on the last direct flight back to Atlanta while the other old couple with the next counter had to take the route to Charlotte and then ATL. The angel staff told us that she didn't know how she did it but she got through the system. We were so GRATEFUL. Finally going home. Oh, sweet home!      

Arrived ATL around 10 p.m. and found our luggage missing. I thought it was at Charlotte or somewhere else because we had changed our flights several times, but it actually arrived earlier than we did. Got our luggage at the luggage service and hopped on Marta. Finally got to North Spring station and headed straight to Taco Mac. Took out some wings and stayed one night at J's place. Tired, tired, tired. But....unforgettable!!
